As a historian and expert in race relations, Mr. Boyd has authored three volumes in a books series – The Road from Money. The series is adapted from family stories – featuring his aunt beginning in 1927 in Money, Mississippi. He has woven in history and the times of Jim Crow in the South, the Great Migration to the north; civil rights, plus music and historical events of the times. Topics include: Race Relations in America (Black Lives Matter), Business, Education, American and world/military history and world culture and geography. He also provides a unique insight into the world of the TV/film industry. In addition, as a substitute teacher he can speak to the issues facing today’s youth.
